Ducky Journey

The wood is quiet, Solumn's green outfit provides him a perfect disguise in these green terrain. He finally found Hawk last night and directed him to the stable. But today is his day. Break away from the group, sun is still hung up high, so he decided to take a walk in the wood. He holds his bow tight and keeps his eyes sharp. The wood is quiet...

But little Rosie has known, Solumn has gone his hunting fruitless. So he decides to take a side trip to Rosie's camp. After whole day of search, he finally grabs all of her rubber duckies. "Guess this hunt isn't fruitless after the all" Solumn thinks. Then he goes out before she returns, only leaving a yellow rose behind.

The peace has reached its limit for Solumn, for some reasons, he has enough. He is planning something, or some ideas for the future is going through his mind. He grows restless as each day goes by. The familiar fruity smell from Cashel reminds him somehow of Bridgewater, yet memory has already faded away. He has already lost his home.

The troubles of Ireland do not bother him at all, in fact, he becomes less concerned with whatever happen to the world. Quite happy with his own circle, now he grows bored. He fears his days might be numbered, yet end he doesn't feel it.

As the dawn draws in closer, the horn of calling battles is blown. He knows he must go. Takes a quick look at Cashel, then follows his fellows to war.

July 20, 1456

"The food doesn't taste good as I want it to be. But yet it's hardly the time to be picky. The excitement of war overwhelms me and I couldn't sleep well last night. On the daybreak, I went to the town where we're currently camped, Lio Mor. The air is clean but I have no lung for that. Luckily, Lady Porcina informed me a soldier couldn't make to the battle due to ill physical condition. But she was happy to lend her sword to good cause. It wasn't much to look at, but I tested it out and it wasn't bad. I paid for her trouble and I think I look rather dashing with the blade on belt.

Cailyn must be very tired when tug in early last night, I haven't seen her all morning. In matter of face, Rosie is nowhere to be found. I talked to several people when we arrived LM last night, it didn't appear Rosie arrived with us. It had me really worried. I don't like to think of the worse, I just hope she'll be alright.

The sun is hung over my top, I must prepare next part of journey. The war is near now..."
